Effective September 1, 2011 to qualify for a residential homestead exemption you must provide the following when submitting your application:
- Texas Drivers License or State ID Card
- Vehicle Registration Receipt
The address on the above MUST match the physical address of the resident you are applying for. (Residence, Drivers License/ID Card and Vehicle Registration MUST have the same address.)
