First it was the Boardwalk on Bulverde located on Wetmore Road…now we have The Park at Summerglen located on 281 by Overlook Parkway. The food truck craze is catching on in San Antonio and is alive and well.
As one who likes to eat good and interesting foods this new park is a real treat as it is a hop, skip and a jump from where I live. A great stopping point for those traveling 281 to refuel or takeout.
Some of the food trucks serving are:
-Bistro Six serving diverse cuisine
-Rolling Pig serving different pork entrees
-Pier 67 serving seafood
-The Fry Guy serving philly steaks fries
-Blazin burgers serving specialty burgers
-Smokin Joes serving bbq, homemade cupcakes, deep fried moonpies
One great thing about the food trucks is they continue to experiment with new menu items which is a great way to explore different flavors and food pairings.
